Takolada Cafe (King Mango?)

Recently,  everything about mango is the most  popular  food in Indonesia. Almost restaurant or cafe serve food or drink with something that related with  mango.

One of popular drink that we often heard currently is “King Mango”.
           

But, what is king mango?

                             

King Mango is a drink that is created from mango fruit.

                

So, wat makes this one so special? Just mango juice, right? Oke, lets we dissect about this one, king mango.

         

We start about place that provide or sell king mango.  “Takolada” is one of cafe that sell king mango. Location of Takolada cafe is Jl. Kalimantan Number 12  Bandung, Indonesia. You can visit takolada everyday at 10 a.m – 9 p.m.

             

Takolada cafe is small cafe. For the first time look at takolada cafe, will feel so hectic, crowded  in there. Respon of the waitress so slow, you must take inisiative to ask them first, just for sit. You definetly perplexed, if you in hectic room like this cafe.

           

For design of this cafe, actually this cafe so fun. Mural everywhere, cute mural and superhero mural, with white background. And you can choose for sit, you can sit with chair or no chair. Yep! With no chair! You can sit on carpet with pillow and table with four short foot,  it makes you feel this is home, enjoy it,  and don’t  you ever vain that you can sit with many pose. This cafe also provide free wifi, and your mind say, “Wifi? Oke, I Love It! I can spend my day in this cafe”.

For food and drink in this cafe, takolada almost serve dessert menu. But, u don’t need anxious about lunch or dinner, because takolada also serve that, as a rice bowl, pizza, etc. For drink, takolada serve many varian of drink, one of popular drink is Tako Mango a.k.a King Mango.

 

King Mango-Tako Mango at Takolada Cafe

Tako mango is big size of mango juice. This Mango juice consist of slice of mango fruit in above, then cream in below, and next layer is mango juice. Over all, this is just mango juice at all~ there is no somethink special about taste, just ordinary mango juice. This mango juice different  from the other because size, cream and slice of mango fruit. And the mango juice  also not quite cold. But, if you love mango, you can forgive it, this mango juice is sweet and thick.The price of Tako Mango is IDR 35.000, is it worth it ? at least, if you love mango so much you can try this one, and i think everyplace that serve king mango, will serve this drink like this, like this taste, just ordinary mango juice with big size.

Lets move to food’s menu,

This called “Wagyu Rice Bowl” , you can choose sauce of this food sambal matah or teriyaki i think, i forgot the second sauce. I definitey choose sambal matah, because i never taste sambal matah before. For this food, i can say “I love it, really really love it!” this food consist of rice, wagyu, egg, crispy chips, and sambal matah. AH! I wanna eat this food again when i write this.  Ingredients of this food is perfect combination. This portion also make you satisfied. Ah, i love it. The price of this food is IDR 29.000.

In takolada cafe you can serve dessert, this cafe serve many dessert with many varian, you will love this place if suddenly have eager to eat dessert. Oh ya, this cafe don’t take tax from customer, may be the price of food include the tax.

Rating of food in this cafe is 8,5, but for the cafe is 7.5, because this cafe so small and crowdly.
